The Skilled Worker Immigration Act contains general requirements that apply to all residence permits for the purpose of employment (section 18(2) of the Residence Act).
It is required that:
- there is a specific job offer
- the Federal Employment Agency has given its consent to the issuance of a residence permit
- if applicable, a work permit has been issued or promised to be issued
- the equivalence of qualifications or relevant professional experience has been established in accordance with the paragraph "Experience".
