It's time for work. Germany for Ukrainians 2024

In 2024, the German government will allocate a maximum of 1.7 billion euros to the states to support refugees.

This amount of federal aid, which is allocated to the states of the country for the reception and integration of refugees, is half as much as in the previous year. This decision was made against the backdrop of increased budget savings.

According to official sources, on September 25, the German government told the states that it will allocate a maximum of 1.7 billion euros to support the costs of refugees in 2024. It is noteworthy that this year this amount is 3.75 billion. In addition, the contribution to the costs of support and integration of Ukrainian refugees will be canceled.

A representative of the German Ministry of Finance reported that the meeting between the federal government and state governments regarding financial support for refugees did not bring results.
